While we were at Fresh and Fabulous, Owner Magda Weydt also took the time to show us how she makes her own homemade quiche. She showed us a couple different varieties, both of which were delicious. Most importantly, they were both made perfectly, from the crust to the filling. You may think it's no big deal to make a perfect quiche, but quiche is one of those things that, if you don't do everything just right, you can have a brunch disaster on your hands.

Seriously, though, it's not like making a quiche is rocket science, but it's like anything else in the world: if it's so easy, everyone would be doing it. Homemade quiche falls into the world of baking, which means there's a specific recipe that needs to be followed or else the crust won't taste right, won't have the right consistency, won't be flaky enough, etc. But then there's the savory part - the delicious center of the quiche, where all the good stuff is. Madga took us through how she makes her incredible homemade quiche in the video we shot in Fresh and Fabulous in Downtown Oxnard.
